Curriculum and Work Integrated Education Internship (CWIE Internship)
THM students in their second year are required to undertake a four-month Curriculum and Work Integrated Education internship with industry partner organizations selected by the program. This CWIE internship is designed to develop students in both tour operation and hotel business, with a strong emphasis on practical workplace learning and service responsibilities. Students may choose to intern with organizations related to tourism businesses or hotel operations approved by the THM program. Through real workplace experience, students gain direct exposure to professional environments, learn from actual working situations, and develop a deeper understanding of operational processes and management practices within the tourism and hospitality industry.
Co-operative Education Internship (Co-op Education Internship)
After THM students complete their academic requirements, they are required to undertake a four-month co-operative education internship. Students may choose to complete their internship either in Thailand or abroad in organizations related to tourism and hospitality, such as hotels, tour companies, travel agencies, food and beverage businesses (F&B), tourism organizations, spas, hospitals, and other related institutions. Internship performance is evaluated jointly by the workplace supervisor and the Internship Program Manager.
Bilingual Program (Thai-English)
Develop tourism and hospitality expertise while building English proficiency in real-world contexts
The Bilingual track in Tourism and Hospitality Management has been designed for students who want to develop comprehensive knowledge and professional skills in both tourism and hotel business, while strengthening their English communication ability in authentic working environments.
Learn naturally in a bilingual environment
Teaching and learning are conducted in both Thai and English in the classroom through a bilingual learning environment. This helps students become familiar with both languages, build confidence in communication, and adapt effectively to international working situations—especially in service industries that require strong communication skills and cross-cultural understanding.
Learning pathway throughout the program
- Year 2 The study plan focuses on integrating essential knowledge in tour business management, customer service, hotel operations, and professional skill development through learning experiences with tour companies or 5–6 star hotels in Thailand, preparing students for careers in leading organizations.
- Year 3 Students are given the opportunity to broaden their horizons through international academic experience by studying for one semester at partner universities abroad, such as in China or the Macao Special Administrative Region. This helps strengthen their global perspective and develop intercultural living skills.
- Year 4 To further enhance professional readiness, the program supports students in undertaking one semester of overseas professional internship training with international tour companies and hotel chains. This real-world experience strengthens their competitiveness and helps build a strong professional profile for the global job market.
Step confidently into a global career
This bilingual study track is an excellent choice for students who wish to pursue careers in tourism and hospitality with confidence, equipped with language proficiency and well-rounded international experience within a single program.
