IST Concludes the 21st Ratchaphruek Games on a High Note with Parade, Football and Athletics Achievements

A proud celebration of teamwork, determination, sportsmanship and the vibrant spirit of IST students.

The International School of Tourism (IST), Suratthani Rajabhat University, proudly participated in the inter-faculty sports competition for Academic Year 2026, the “21st Ratchaphruek Games.” The event came to a memorable close with an atmosphere filled with friendship, teamwork, sporting spirit and pride, while IST students achieved outstanding results across several competitions.

One of the major highlights of the event was the spectacular athletes' parade, which brought together eight faculties and colleges across Suratthani Rajabhat University: the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Law, International School of Tourism, Faculty of Management Sciences, and Samui College of Interdisciplinary Studies.

IST proudly participated as Parade No. 6. Through creativity, coordination, teamwork and the distinctive identity of the School, IST students delivered an impressive performance and successfully secured First Runner-up, or 2nd Place, in the Parade Competition.

IST's men's football team also demonstrated determination, sporting ability and strong teamwork throughout the tournament, earning Second Runner-up, or 3rd Place, in the Men's Football Competition and adding another proud achievement for the IST community.

Among the individual highlights, Mr. Adisorn Phetlu secured two silver medals by finishing 2nd in both the 5,000-metre and 1,500-metre events, marking an outstanding performance for IST in this year's athletics competition.

IST's female athletes also achieved 3rd place and bronze medals in the women's mixed relay and the women's 4 × 100 metres relay. The 4 × 100 metres relay team comprised Ms. Alisa Thongwiset, Ms. Rojana Riyaphan, Ms. Roseline Yaoluck Sutar, and Ms. Phutnambut Sawatdiwong.

The achievements at the 21st Ratchaphruek Games represent more than medals and competition results. They reflect teamwork, discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship and the collective commitment of IST athletes, parade participants, supporters, students and staff members.

Participation in the inter-faculty sports competition also provided students with valuable learning opportunities beyond the classroom. Through the activities, students strengthened leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, discipline, respect for rules and positive relationships with students from other faculties and colleges.
