English communication skills are crucial for unlocking future educational and career opportunities. Recognizing this importance, the International School of Tourism (IST), Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized an English Communication Skills Development Project for high school students at Tha Chana School, Tha Chana District, Surat Thani Province. This initiative aims to improve students' English proficiency and equip them with valuable language skills for their future endeavors.
Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, Centara Reserve Samui, and Meliá Koh Samui conducted interviews to select second and third-year Hotel Management students at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University.
On November 15, 2024, the International School of Tourism underwent a quality assurance audit, led by Dr. Jeerati Phoon-iad, Dean of the International School of Tourism. The audit featured a presentation of the organizational framework and quality development plan based on educational quality standards for achieving excellence in the academic year 2023.
On November 13, 2024, the Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Industry program, majoring in Tourism, organized an orientation for senior students to prepare them for their upcoming professional internship. The event aimed to equip students with the skills needed for real-world work environments, life adjustments, and readiness for post-graduation careers.
On November 13, 2024, the Bachelor of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management program hosted the "THM Star Ceremony 2024: Fly Me to The Star" at the Phumipholin Room, Faculty of Management Sciences Building, Suratthani Rajabhat University. The event aimed to foster unity, motivation, and excellence among students of all years while honoring outstanding performers of the academic year.
On November 5, 2024, the International School of Tourism organized a cultural immersion activity for exchange students from Wuzhou University, China, featuring traditional Thai etiquette and dress. This workshop welcomed the students into Thailand’s Loy Krathong festival season by allowing them to experience and wear traditional Thai costumes from different regions, including the graceful Nang Noppamas attire.
