Today (August 6, 2025) marks the final day of the internal quality assurance assessment process for the academic year 2023 at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University. The assessment is being conducted from August 5-6, 2025, at the meeting room on the 7th floor of the Chalermprakiat 80th Birthday Anniversary Building. This is part of the mechanism for overseeing curriculum standards according to the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance) criteria.
The Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) program at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, has collaborated with the Surat Thani Institute for Skill Development 11 to organize an intensive 30-hour beverage mixing workshop to prepare students for their professional internships.
On July 31, 2025, the Aviation Business program at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, held an interview session for its 4th-year students to prepare them for their cooperative education internships in the first semester of the 2025 academic year. The event took place in the meeting room on the 7th floor of the International School of Tourism building.
On July 29, 2025, the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University (IST SRU), through its Aviation Business program, organized a workshop on "Aviation Ground Services" to prepare students for their upcoming Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) internships.
The Tourism and Hospitality Management program has launched the "30-Hour Intensive English Courses" project for new, first-year students in the Bilingual Program. The goal is to prepare students of all English proficiency levels, enabling them to adapt and learn effectively in a bilingual classroom environment.
The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University (IST SRU) is advancing its mission to promote sustainable tourism. Asst. Prof. Dr. Yoksamon Cheheng from IST, in collaboration with Dr. Netnapa Ruangpanupan from the Natural Resources and Environment program, Faculty of Science and Technology, conducted a field visit to promote knowledge and understanding of calculating greenhouse gas emissions, or Carbon Footprint, for five pilot accommodation businesses in the Khao Sok area participating in a carbon neutrality promotion project.
