Tourism Management Students Hone Wine Tasting & Service Skills at The Botanist House

On September 25, 2024, students from the Tourism and Hospitality Management program at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, participated in a special Wine Tasting & Service training session. This hands-on training focused on equipping students with essential wine service skills, vital for their future roles in the tourism and hospitality industry.

Tourism and Hospitality Management Students Sharpen Their Wine Tasting & Service Skills at The Botanist House in Preparation for Professional Careers

On September 25, 2024, students from the Tourism and Hospitality Management program at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, took part in a special Wine Tasting & Service training session held at The Botanist House. This training formed part of a course designed to provide students with practical experience in wine service, which is crucial for careers in the tourism and hospitality sectors.

During the training, students learned various aspects of professional wine service, including proper wine glass handling, opening wine bottles, pouring techniques, and wine tasting. They also gained an in-depth understanding of different wine varieties and how to explain their characteristics to customers. Additionally, students were introduced to the art of pairing wine with food, which is an important skill in creating an exceptional dining experience.
