IST-SRU Joins INTER COOP CAMP 2026 to Prepare Students for International Cooperative Education
Strengthening professional, life, and cross-cultural skills for future international work experiences
Students and a faculty member from the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, participated in “INTER COOP CAMP 2026” from July 15–18, 2026, at M Hotel Danok, Sadao District, Songkhla Province, Thailand, and in Penang, Malaysia. The program was designed to strengthen professional readiness, life skills, and cross-cultural learning experiences before students undertake cooperative education placements.
The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, sent students and a faculty member to participate in INTER COOP CAMP 2026, an international cooperative education preparation program aimed at enhancing professional experience and essential life skills before students undertake cooperative education placements.
The program also supports the development of cooperative education toward international placements, while preparing students to become quality graduates who are able to adapt effectively to diverse working environments. Participation provided students with valuable opportunities to learn beyond the classroom and strengthen communication, teamwork, adaptability, and cross-cultural awareness.

Participation in international cooperative education requires students to possess not only academic and professional knowledge but also communication skills, responsibility, teamwork, cultural awareness, and the ability to adapt to unfamiliar environments. These competencies are particularly important for students preparing to work in tourism, hospitality, aviation, and other internationally oriented service industries.

The experience gained from INTER COOP CAMP 2026 serves as an important experiential learning opportunity that connects academic knowledge with real-world preparation. Students are able to broaden their international perspectives and develop competencies that can be applied during cooperative education placements, professional training, and their future careers.
The International School of Tourism continues to promote diverse learning opportunities both in Thailand and abroad, with the aim of developing graduates who possess strong professional competencies, essential life skills, adaptability, and the confidence to enter an increasingly international workforce.
