IST Sports Relations Activity 2026
Date: Saturday, 19 September 2026
Time: 2:30–5:00 p.m.
Venue: Football Field next to the Faculty of Law, Suratthani Rajabhat University
Participants: IST students, lecturers, and staff
More than just a competition to find the winning team, the activity gives everyone a chance to step away from their usual roles in classrooms and offices and enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere together. It is a moment for the IST community to share laughter, teamwork, and new experiences beyond everyday academic and professional routines.
The excitement begins with participants divided into four colour teams — White, Purple, Blue, and Red. Each team will put its energy, creativity, and teamwork to the test through a variety of activities, including traditional games, futsal matches, cheering activities, and relationship-building games, all designed to encourage participation and enjoyment for everyone.
“4 Colours • 3 Forces • 1 IST”
Students × Lecturers × Staff
Join Forces • Unite • Build Connections
Under this concept, the Sports Relations Activity is about much more than physical exercise. It also provides an opportunity for participants to learn through experience by developing teamwork, communication, planning, responsibility, respect for rules, and good sportsmanship. These are valuable skills that can be applied not only in university life but also in future careers.
One of the most meaningful aspects of the activity is the opportunity to see students, lecturers, and staff playing on the same team, planning together, cheering for one another, and sharing smiles throughout the event. Such moments help reduce barriers between different roles and generations, while strengthening the feeling of belonging to the “IST Family.”
Beyond the fun and friendly competition, sports and physical activities also contribute to physical health and social well-being. At the same time, they help students develop essential skills, particularly those preparing for careers in tourism and hospitality, where teamwork, communication, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively with others are especially important.
The 2026 IST Sports Relations Activity therefore reflects IST’s approach to learning beyond the classroom. It creates an environment where students can gain practical experience, strengthen interpersonal relationships, and build positive connections with lecturers and staff as part of a supportive academic community.
Sometimes, the best team is not measured by goals or points on the scoreboard, but by how people come together, support one another, and leave the field with great memories shared as one team.
