IST Welcomes Sriyapai School Students to Explore Careers in Tourism and Hospitality

A group of 42 teachers and students joined a learning visit and explored further-study pathways during SRU Open House 2027 on 23 July 2026.

The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, welcomed 42 teachers and students from Sriyapai School, Chumphon, for a learning visit and activities during SRU Open House 2027 on Thursday, 23 July 2026.

The visit formed part of the “Learning Resource Field Trip: Opening the Door to Careers (Japanese Language)” for students in Mathayom 4/11, 5/11, and 6/11. The activity provided an opportunity for students to learn through direct experience, explore further-study options, and discover careers that match their interests and potential.

Experiential Learning

Exploring programmes, classrooms, and careers in service industries.

During the activity, students attended a talk connecting their aspirations with future-ready skills and gained insights into trends in aviation, tourism, and hospitality. These industries increasingly require professionals with strong communication, creativity, teamwork, and adaptability.

SPECIAL TALK

“Dream High, Fly Higher: Building the Future with Future Skills in Aviation, Tourism, and Hospitality”

The session introduced essential skills for the future workplace and encouraged students to plan their learning and prepare for career pathways that reflect their interests.

Students also became familiar with academic programmes, classrooms, learning approaches, and a variety of career pathways across tourism and hospitality. The experience helped them better understand the connection between their current studies, higher education, and future employment.

The International School of Tourism thanks the teachers and students of Sriyapai School for participating in the activity and hopes that their experience at SRU Open House 2027 will inspire them to dream boldly, plan purposefully, and move confidently toward the educational and career paths that suit them.
