The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, together with the Student Organization and Student Club, organized the “FIRST CLASS CHECK-IN” program as part of the IST 69 Freshman Welcome Activities on 18–19 June 2026.
The program was designed to create a positive first impression, help new students adapt to university life, and build meaningful connections among freshmen, senior students, faculty members, and staff.

Freshman Welcome Activities
Time: 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM
Venue: Futsal Field near the Faculty of Law
Traditional Bai Sri Su Kwan Ceremony
Time: 02:30 PM – 07:00 PM
Venue: Vajiralongkorn Auditorium Lobby
Building Friendship and Belonging
The first day focused on interactive activities designed to strengthen teamwork, communication, leadership, and friendship among new students. Through collaborative learning experiences, participants developed stronger connections with their peers while enjoying a welcoming and supportive environment.
Faculty members and staff also joined the activities, sharing encouragement and creating memorable experiences that reflected the warm and family-oriented culture of the International School of Tourism.
Preserving Culture through the Bai Sri Su Kwan Ceremony
On 19 June 2026, freshmen participated in the traditional Bai Sri Su Kwan Ceremony, a meaningful Thai cultural practice that symbolizes blessings, encouragement, and prosperity for students as they begin their higher education journey.
The ceremony also strengthens the bond between students, senior students, faculty members, and staff while preserving valuable Thai cultural traditions.

FIRST CLASS CHECK-IN serves as an important starting point for IST 69 students, helping them develop friendships, life skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging as they begin their university journey.
