On 24 July 2026, the International School of Tourism, in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Sciences, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organised “CWIE & JOB FAIR 2026” at the Auditorium, Dipangkorn Rasmijoti Building, Suratthani Rajabhat University. The event created a platform connecting students, educational institutions and employers.

Participating organisations from the tourism, hospitality, service and business sectors introduced their organisations, internship positions, workplace responsibilities, and the skills and qualifications expected from prospective interns. Students received information directly from employers and explored placements that matched their interests, abilities and future career goals.

From Exploring Opportunities to Real Internship Interviews

One of the main highlights of the event was the opportunity for students to submit applications and attend on-site interviews for professional internship and cooperative education placements with participating employers. Students experienced an authentic recruitment process, including preparing personal information and application documents, introducing themselves, presenting their strengths, and answering interview questions.

The interviews also allowed students to strengthen their communication skills, confidence, professional conduct, and ability to make a positive first impression. These competencies are particularly important in the tourism, hospitality and service industries, where personality, service awareness, professionalism, problem-solving and teamwork play essential roles in workplace success.

Connecting Classroom Learning with Employer Expectations

CWIE & JOB FAIR 2026 served as an important mechanism for connecting academic learning with real workplace experience. In addition to discovering internship positions, students gained a clearer understanding of employer expectations, labour market trends, and the professional skills required for their future careers.

Participating employers were also able to meet and consider students whose knowledge, abilities and personal qualities matched their organisational needs. The event supported the exchange of feedback between employers and the university, contributing to the continued improvement of academic programmes and student preparation activities in response to current workforce requirements.
