Professional Resume Development Prepares Students for CWIE and Cooperative Education

A six-hour resume development workshop was organised for second- and fourth-year students before their selection interviews with leading tour operators and hotel businesses.

The workshop strengthened students’ ability to present their experience, skills, and potential through professional application documents before participating in the IST x MSC CWIE & Job Fair 2026 on 24 July 2026.

Preparing Students for Real-World Work Experience

The Tourism and Hospitality Management Programme at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organised a six-hour resume development workshop for second- and fourth-year students.

The initiative prepared students for interviews and selection into Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education programmes, commonly known as CWIE, as well as cooperative education placements with partner organisations.

Developing Professional Job Application Skills

Students reviewed the essential elements of an effective resume, including personal information, education, language competencies, digital skills, activities, internship experience, professional capabilities, and relevant achievements.

The workshop also encouraged students to identify their individual strengths, analyse areas for further development, and prepare information for self-introductions and interview questions. These abilities are essential when applying for professional experience in the tourism and hospitality industries.

  • Summarising education and experience clearly and concisely
  • Presenting language, digital, and professional competencies
  • Selecting information relevant to specific positions and employers
  • Designing a professional and easy-to-read resume
  • Preparing information for self-introductions and interviews

Strengthening Readiness for CWIE and Cooperative Education

The activity formed part of the programme’s efforts to connect classroom learning with real workplace experience. It helped students understand employer expectations, organisational culture, and professional standards in tour operations, hotels, tourism, and hospitality services.

Students will use their improved resumes when applying and attending selection interviews with leading industry partners during the IST x MSC CWIE & Job Fair 2026. The event will provide opportunities to meet employers, learn about recruitment processes, and pursue future professional placements.
