Strengthening professional aviation knowledge, hands-on skills, and real industry experience to prepare students for future careers in aviation and service industries.

Taking Flight with Real Aviation Experience

From 7 to 9 June 2026, third-year students from the Aviation Business Program, International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, participated in the “Wings for Aviation Professionals” program at AirAsia Academy. The program aimed to enhance students’ professional knowledge, aviation-related skills, and hands-on experience while preparing them for future careers in aviation and service industries.

This activity provided students with a valuable opportunity to experience a realistic training environment and learn directly from aviation industry professionals, enabling them to better understand international airline service standards and professional expectations.

Learning Airline Service Standards from Industry Experts

Throughout the training program, students engaged in both theoretical and practical learning delivered by aviation industry experts. Key topics included cabin crew personality and professional image, in-flight service standards, passenger communication and service skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and creating memorable service experiences in accordance with international airline standards.

Safety and Security Training for Aviation Readiness

In addition, students participated in practical Safety and Security training, which is a core aspect of cabin crew operations. Training activities included Emergency Evacuation, Ditching Training, the use of life-saving equipment, in-flight emergency management, and basic Fire Fighting Training.

These hands-on training sessions helped students develop essential knowledge and understanding of emergency response procedures, enabling them to respond appropriately and safely in accordance with aviation safety standards.

The “Wings for Aviation Professionals” program represents a meaningful learning experience that strengthens students’ professional competencies, future skills, and career readiness, supporting their development as high-quality practice-oriented graduates ready to enter the global aviation industry.
