Aviation Business Students Prepare for CWIE and Cooperative Education
Creating workplace-learning pathways from airlines operating in southern Thailand to Suvarnabhumi Airport and international cooperative education opportunities.
The Aviation Business Program, International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, conducted interview sessions for second- and third-year students on 13–14 August 2026 to assess their readiness and suitability before undertaking Cooperative and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) and cooperative education placements in the aviation industry.
From Classroom Learning to Real-World Aviation Experience
Workplace-based learning plays an important role in the Aviation Business Program's approach to student development. Students have opportunities to apply classroom knowledge and professional skills in real working environments, learn about airline operations and passenger services, work alongside industry professionals, and develop the ability to adapt to professional workplace environments within the aviation industry.
Second-Year Students Prepare for CWIE in Southern Thailand
Second-year students participated in interviews in preparation for CWIE placements with airlines operating flights from airports in southern Thailand. The process supports the assessment of students' readiness and suitability before entering an authentic workplace environment.
Third-Year Students Explore Cooperative Education at Suvarnabhumi and Abroad

These competencies are particularly important in aviation and service-oriented careers.
Professional Communication
Strengthening communication and self-presentation skills appropriate for professional workplace environments.
