IST Strengthens Students’
Digital and AI Skills
Preparing students for learning and the future of work through computer skills, Digital Literacy and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence.
The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, strengthens students’ digital and AI competencies, developing Digital Literacy and Future Skills to prepare them for the rapidly evolving digital workplace.
From 29 June to 2 July 2026, the International School of Tourism (IST), Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized the “IST Computer, Digital and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Skills Development Project” for IST students at Computer Room 303, Dipangkorn Rasmijoti Building, Suratthani Rajabhat University.
The project aimed to strengthen students’ knowledge and skills in computer technology, digital tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI), enabling them to apply modern technologies to learning, research, information analysis, creative work and professional productivity.
Activities combined knowledge development with hands-on practice to strengthen students’ Digital Literacy. Students were encouraged to understand technological change, select appropriate digital and AI tools, and use emerging technologies effectively, appropriately and responsibly.
Students can also apply the knowledge and experience gained to the tourism, hospitality and aviation industries, where digital technology, automation, data analytics and AI are increasingly used in management, communication, customer service and the enhancement of visitor and passenger experiences.
The initiative forms part of IST’s commitment to developing students with a combination of professional competencies, digital skills and Future Skills, preparing graduates to adapt to changes in the world of work, create value through technology and confidently enter the digital economy.
