The initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On June 20–21, 2025,

along with faculty members from the Faculty of Science and Technology,
organized a Stakeholder Meeting and Familiarization Trip (FAM Trip) in
Baan Sieb Yuan – Koh Kula – Bor Kha – Wat Phra Borommathat Sawi, Chumphon Province.

The program aimed to promote experiential learning, encourage local participation, and foster knowledge exchange between academia and local communities. Highlights included:

  • Cultural exploration at Bor Kha, an ancient Chinese-Thai community

  • Long-tail boat ride and snorkeling at Koh Kula, with a “Love the Sea” conservation activity

  • Traditional Thai dessert workshop with local women’s groups

  • Hands-on squid fishing and shell gathering with villagers

This initiative reflects the integration of academic knowledge for sustainable development and contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Local Economic Growth), SDG 11 (Sustainable Communities), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
