Exploring the World of Wine: Basic Knowledge and Food Pairing Techniques

The Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized an activity titled “Wine Service and Basics Pairing” for 45 second-year students from classes 67506.071 and 67509.073. The session aimed to provide fundamental knowledge of wine service and essential techniques for food and wine pairing.

The activity was honored to welcome distinguished guest speakers:

 

  • Ms. Laksika “Mook” Mukdagul, Managing Director of Banjongburi Hotel and Time23 Bar&Restaurant

  • Mr. Kittipong “Nick” Boonlai, Supervisor at Time23 Bar&Restaurant

 

Held at Time23 Bar&Restaurant, the program introduced students to practical knowledge of wine service, preparing them with the necessary skills for real-world hospitality operations. It also served as a foundation for the Cooperative and Work-Integrated Education (CWIE) program scheduled for Semester 2/2025.

 

This activity not only enhanced students’ understanding of wine theory and service techniques but also provided essential skills to strengthen their professional competence, laying the groundwork for future careers in the hospitality industry.
