Preparing Future Professional Tourist Guides

The International School of Tourism strengthens essential knowledge for the tourist guide license examination while developing tourism personnel through reskilling and upskilling.

The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized the Professional Tourist Guide Preparation Program to develop the knowledge, practical skills and professional readiness of individuals interested in becoming tourist guides and applying for a tourist guide license.

On 25 July 2026, the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized the Professional Tourist Guide Preparation Program, Module 1: Knowledge for the Tourist Guide License Examination, at Ban Chiao Lan Subdistrict Municipality, Ban Ta Khun District, Surat Thani Province.

The training program aimed to develop the essential knowledge and skills required by individuals interested in becoming professional tourist guides. It also prepared participants for the tourist guide license examination while promoting tourism workforce development and lifelong learning through reskilling and upskilling.

Throughout the program, participants gained academic knowledge and practical insights from experienced tourism professionals. The training strengthened their understanding of the roles, responsibilities and service standards expected of professional tourist guides.

The program also helped participants build confidence in preparing for the tourist guide licensing process and applying the knowledge gained to future professional practice in the tourism industry.
