SRU International School of Tourism Launches Social Engineer Classroom Projects: Integrating Learning with Sustainable Community Development
The International School of Tourism at Suratthani Rajabhat University proudly presents two integrated Social Engineer Classroom projects that merge real-world learning with community development. These projects aim to equip students with hands-on experience while contributing to the growth of local communities. The two key projects are:
1. Social Engineer Classroom: Foreign Languages for Communication in Khao Sok Community Tourism
Held at Wat Tham Phanthurat, Klong Sok, Phanom District, Surat Thani Province, led by Asst. Prof. Nuchanun Satchachaliou, this project focuses on teaching foreign languages to enhance communication with tourists in the Khao Sok community. It integrates language skills with the promotion of community-based tourism.
2. Social Engineer Classroom: Developing Community Food Products for Special In-Flight Menus
Taking place in Klong Prap, Ban Na San District, Surat Thani Province, under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Jaree Prommana, this project aims to create prototype community food products that can be used as special in-flight meals. It’s a collaboration between food product development and the aviation industry, adding value to local produce.
