The SRU OPEN HOUSE 2025, held from September 20-22, 2024, was a resounding success, drawing a large number of attendees. The International School of Tourism was one of the highlights, attracting many visitors with engaging activities and opportunities for student enrollment.
SRU OPEN HOUSE 2025 Impresses! International School of Tourism Opens Student Enrollment with Fun Activities and Signature Cocktail Contest under the Theme "Taste of South"
The SRU OPEN HOUSE 2025, held from September 20-22, 2024, was met with great enthusiasm, particularly at the International School of Tourism's booth, which actively recruited new students. A total of 88 students applied: 40 for the Tourism and Hospitality Management (Thai Program), 10 for the Tourism and Hospitality Management (Bilingual Program), and 38 for the Aviation Business Program.
At the International School of Tourism booth, visitors enjoyed a variety of activities, including the IST Passport event, which introduced third languages like Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. Additionally, there was a simulated airplane photo booth and a presentation of the Social Engineer Project led by the college’s faculty.
The stage activities were lively and engaging, featuring Apiwat Pongwat (Nueng ETC), a famous Thai artist, who shared his insights on the topic "Music and Journey: Soft Power in the Context of Sustainable Tourism." He also performed a special duet with Ms. Anrada Hongthong (AnnAnn), a first-year student in the Tourism and Hospitality Management program, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
One of the event's highlights was the Signature Cocktail competition under the theme "Taste of South," which captivated attendees as participants presented unique Southern-inspired beverages.
