Elevating Social Skills: SRU Aviation Students Practice International Dining Etiquette
On August 21, 2024, Assistant Professor Pornpaktra Sakda, Chair of the Aviation Business Program, along with Lecturer Jaree Phrommana and Assistant Professor Jutarat Laopram, led first-year Aviation Business students from Group 1 in a practical session on international dining etiquette at The Botanist House.
This activity is an annual event for first-year Aviation Business students and is part of the course on Personality Development and Service Psychology in the Aviation Industry. The course focuses on preparing students with proper Thai and international etiquette, essential for careers in the service industry and future social interactions. After theoretical and practical lessons in the classroom, students had the opportunity to practice in a real-world setting. The hands-on experience aims to build their confidence and refine their skills in using dining utensils and understanding international dining etiquette, ensuring they are well-prepared for professional and social engagements.
