IST Aviation Business Students Ready to Fly! Preparing for the Real World through the CWIE Program 2025

The Bachelor of Arts in Aviation Business Program, International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized the “Cooperative and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) Preparation Program” from November 3–6, 2025, to prepare second-year students for their upcoming professional internship under the CWIE model. The program aimed to enhance students’ professional knowledge, practical skills, and workplace readiness for real-life experiences.

The sessions were honored by Ms. Napaporn Wongwiwatchai, an expert in aviation service and career development, who led interactive lectures and workshops on the following key topics:

✈️ Understanding CWIE: Concepts, Preparation, and Employer Expectations

💼 Smart Service Mindset for Aviation Professionals

🌍 Workplace Communication in Multicultural Environments

💻 Digital Tools for Aviation Interns: GDS & Beyond

The program was designed to build students’ confidence and capabilities through experiential learning—emphasizing adaptability, effective communication, and digital skills essential for the aviation industry.

Held at the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, the event engaged 42 enthusiastic second-year students who actively participated in all sessions. The activity reflected the School’s commitment to developing career-ready graduates through the Cooperative and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) approach.
