IST Hosts English Skills Preparation Workshop for Freshmen, Academic Year 2025
The Student Affairs Division of the International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized the “IST English Skills Preparation Workshop for First-Year Students” on Thursday, June 20, 2025, from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM at Rooms GA 102 and GA 103, Chalermprakiat 80th Anniversary Building.
This initiative aims to equip freshmen (Class of 68) with foundational English skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—to support their academic readiness and empower them to thrive in higher education and the 21st century learning landscape.
The workshop embraced an interactive and hands-on learning approach, combining practical language exercises with engaging activities that build communication confidence. Students also had the opportunity to collaborate, practice, and exchange ideas in a supportive environment.
This program reflects IST’s commitment to nurturing language proficiency and lifelong learning skills, ensuring that every student embarks on their university journey with confidence and essential tools for success.
