First-year students from the Tourism and Hospitality Management Program, IST SRU, participated in a personality development workshop organized by Robinson Surat Thani to enhance self-confidence and professional image.
The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, has officially launched the Regional Tour Guide Training Program (Southern Thailand), Batch 1, to equip participants with specialized knowledge and practical skills for guiding in Southern Thailand.
The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, hosted the IST CWIE FAIR 2025 – the 2nd Career Fair in Tourism, Hospitality, and Aviation – on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Wachiralongkorn Auditorium. More than 30 leading organizations participated, offering students opportunities to apply for jobs and attend on-site interviews.
The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized the “Outbound Guide Training Camp” during 21–28 August 2025, along the route Surat Thani – Nakhon Ratchasima – Mukdahan – Savannakhet (Laos) – Hue – Danang – Hoi An (Vietnam).
The project aimed to enhance competencies and professional skills of senior Tourism students, preparing them to become qualified Outbound Guides and Tour Leaders through real practice in cross-border guiding and tour management.
The Aviation Business program, International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized a study trip to Don Mueang International Airport and the Royal Thai Air Force Museum in Bangkok as part of the initiative to promote learning through real-life travel experiences.
This activity offered students a first-hand experience with the full process of traveling by commercial aircraft, including:
Booking and seat reservation
Check-in and baggage drop
Security checkpoint procedures
Utilizing airport passenger facilities
Boarding and disembarking the aircraft
Students were also encouraged to critically evaluate the in-flight services they received—analyzing from both the perspectives of future service providers and passengers—enhancing their ability to observe and assess real-world operations in aviation and service-related fields.
At Don Mueang Airport, students were guided through ground operation areas and learned about:
Passenger flow and space management
Flight scheduling and coordination
Commercial services within the airport
Cross-functional collaboration among aviation logistics units
This exposure deepened their understanding of how efficient airport operations are orchestrated through teamwork and precision.
The visit continued at the Royal Thai Air Force Museum, where students explored Thailand’s aviation history through exhibits of aircraft from different eras. They gained insights into technological development, historical missions, and the role of aviation in national defense.
The trip not only bridged classroom learning with real-world experience but also fostered pride in the evolution of Thailand’s aviation industry—both in civilian and military contexts—on regional and global stages.
On September 3, 2025, the Office of Student Development at Suratthani Rajabhat University (SRU) organized the 3rd Mobile Student Affairs Network Meeting of the year at the International School of Tourism, 7th Floor, Chalermphrakiat 80th Anniversary Building. The meeting was hosted by the International School of Tourism.
