Year 2 Aviation Business Students Showcase CWIE Experience After Southern Airport Internships
The Aviation Business program organized a presentation of Cooperative and Work Integrated Education (CWIE) outcomes for 41 second-year students following the completion of their professional internships at airports and aviation-related organizations in Southern Thailand.
The internships took place from January 1 to March 31, 2026, providing students with hands-on experience in real working environments. The presentation session was filled with energy and pride as students shared their learning experiences and achievements.
The event was honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Pornpaktra Sakda, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, who chaired the evaluation session, along with Assistant Professor Jutharat Laoprharman and Mr. Pongkrit Nantanakorn as committee members.
Students completed their internships at major southern airports, including Phuket, Krabi, Hat Yai, Nakhon Si Thammarat, and Surat Thani airports, gaining direct exposure to the aviation industry.
Through this experience, students developed essential professional skills such as customer service, coordination, communication, and adaptability in real-world working environments.
The presentations clearly demonstrated students’ growth in knowledge, skills, personality, responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities—key attributes required in the aviation industry.
This activity reflects the program’s strong commitment to producing highly competent graduates through integrated learning approaches that connect classroom knowledge with real-world experience, preparing students for future careers in the aviation industry.
