IST Tourism Students Step into the Real World Through CWIE Experience
Year 2–4 students in Tourism and Service Management present their CWIE and cooperative education projects based on real-world experience across 40+ organizations
The International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized a project presentation event for students in the Tourism and Service Management program. Students from Year 2 to Year 4 showcased their learning experiences gained through CWIE (Cooperative and Work Integrated Education) and cooperative education programs, which integrate academic learning with real workplace experience.
Students have gained hands-on experience from more than 40 organizations, including hotels, tour businesses, and various tourism-related enterprises, as well as unique workplaces such as zoos. These experiences provide students with diverse perspectives and practical insights into the industry.
💡 From Real Challenges to Practical Solutions
Each project begins with identifying real challenges encountered in the workplace, whether in service operations, management, or customer experience. These challenges are then transformed into creative solutions that can be applied in real organizational contexts.
This process helps students develop essential skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork, which are crucial for careers in the tourism and service industry.
🚀 Bridging Classroom Learning with the Professional World
This presentation reflects the students’ ability to apply academic knowledge in real-world situations and demonstrates their readiness to grow into professional roles in the industry.
✨ Learn real. Work real. Create real. Grow real.
