The Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) Program, International School of Tourism, Suratthani Rajabhat University, organized an intensive 18-hour training course on “Beverage Mixing Skills” from March 21 to 23, 2026, at Suratthani Rajabhat University. The training was designed to prepare students before entering cooperative education and to support their readiness for the Thailand National Skill Standard assessment in Beverage Mixing, Level 1.

This training reflects the program’s commitment to practical and career-oriented education, integrating classroom knowledge with real hands-on experience. It aims to ensure that students are better prepared to enter the hospitality industry with confidence, competence, and professional awareness.

Real Learning, Real Practice with an Industry Expert

The training was led by Mr. Jitdilok Suaysun, a specialist in beverage mixing, who shared his expertise with students through an intensive combination of theoretical instruction and practical workshops. Students were introduced to essential knowledge in beverage preparation, mixing techniques, ingredient handling, and professional operational standards required in the field.

Strong professional skills are not built from theory alone, but through practice, repetition, and a clear understanding of real industry standards.

Participants developed both technical knowledge and workplace confidence through learning activities that closely reflected real professional situations, helping them prepare for the National Skill Standard assessment with greater readiness.

  • 18 hours of intensive training to systematically develop beverage mixing skills
  • Comprehensive learning in both theory and practice from fundamental knowledge to real-world application

Building Career Opportunities in a Growing Service Industry

Beyond technical preparation, this activity also helped broaden students’ career perspectives in hotels, restaurants, cafés, and beverage-related businesses, all of which continue to grow and demand personnel with industry-relevant skills and recognized standards.

The THM program remains committed to producing graduates who possess knowledge, capability, and practical competencies that can be applied in real workplaces. Through activities like this, students are equipped to build their confidence, expand their opportunities, and move forward as quality professionals in the tourism and hospitality industry.
