The International School of Tourism (IST) proudly participated in the 52nd-anniversary celebration of Surat Thani Rajabhat University (SRU) and the accompanying retirement ceremony for the year 2025. The honorable event was held on September 29, 2025, at the Auditorium, Thepangkorn Rasmijoti Building.
The ceremony was filled with warmth and pride, celebrating the university's long and distinguished history from its origins as a teachers' college to becoming a leading higher education institution in Southern Thailand. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Watana Rattanaprom, President of SRU, who delivered a heartfelt speech honouring the 11 retirees for their significant contributions to the university's foundation and development.
Personnel from the International School of Tourism were present to congratulate the retirees and take part in the significant occasion. A notable highlight was a special performance by university staff, which featured the participation of Ms. Supassara Nitikhunkasem and Ms. Srisuda Kaewamrat from the International School of Tourism. Their involvement in the performance was a gesture of honour and appreciation, reflecting the unity and spirit of the SRU community.
